Project Summary.

In Bilthoven, The Netherlands, the brief was to transform a garage into a kitchen, with living space opening up to the garden as well as a redo of the living room. To accomplish this, I made structural changes to the garage. To provide an open plan kitchen, I removed the bearing walls and installed steel trusses instead. To accommodate the request of an industrial aesthetic, the steel trusses remained in sight.
